Once your application is verified, the UWV aims to give you confirmation within few days (maximum 4 weeks). If your application has been successful, we’ll send you all the information you need to start your course.

STAP funding is available through 2026. The government releases funding in two-month windows - for 2022, this is the 1st of March, May, July, September, and November. There is high demand for the STAP funding, so it's important to register early and confirm your application as soon as possible on the 1st of May. If you don't receive funding, you may reapply in the next period. We'll work as quickly as possible to help you secure funding but it's possible the funding may run out quickly.
